The Daubigny Museum joins the other cultural places of Auvers-sur-Oise for the 30th Anniversary of the International Music Festival in a special event "Painting & Music".

As many painters, writers or musicians of the end of the 19th century, Fernand QUIGNON celebrates nature's beauty and generosity, through his local landscapes's views.

An exclusive exhibition showing hundreds of engravings from the museum collections.

This exhibition will introduce engravings from Charles-François DAUBIGNY and his peers : Cézanne, Daumier, Desboutin, Goeneutte, Guillaumin.

Besides of these 19th century engravings, some contemporary figurative artworks will also be shown, from various artists such as : Bezombes, Ikuta, Pessin, Verlinde, as well as as colorful abstract artworks from artists such as Aléchinsky, Bryen, Clavé, Corneille, Goetz, Messagier ...

You will also get to see our gallery of portrays showing side by side artworks from Marie Laurencin, Chahine or Moretti ...

Dream Cats, Everyday Cats


This exhibition is made of the recollection of three private gifts : LAVECH DE CHANCY gift to the museum from 2001, Mr GIRARD-CHEVALIER collection and Mr & Mrs SAUHET collection lent to the museum for this exhibition, which shows these artworks in two focus : an artistic one, and a ludic one.

Visitors will get to see The Cat as well in artworks from famous artists as in everyday life items, commercial posters or Epinal pictures. They will get the chance to have a glimpse of their everyday pet pictured with tenderness and humor !
