ColiShip is the online shipping tool from Colissimo, designed for businesses with a Colissimo Entreprise contract. It allows you to generate shipping labels, import address files, and track shipments from a web browser. Recently, its functionality has evolved: ColiShip is no longer a standalone tool, but an application linked to the Colissimo Box space.
ColiShip linked to Colissimo Box: what changes for business login
Most online tutorials still present ColiShip as an independent software, with its own login page and credentials. This description has become partially outdated.

Since 2024, La Poste has been generalizing a convergence between ColiShip and Colissimo Box, the global client space for managing Colissimo flows. New Colissimo Entreprise contracts are now opened with access to Colissimo Box, and ColiShip appears there as an “associated application” rather than a separate portal. An article detailing the management of ColiShip on BackUpYourBrain reviews the practical steps for this connection.
For a company subscribing to a new contract, the login process now goes through Colissimo Box, followed by the activation of ColiShip in the “Applications” section. This logic also changes the management of passwords and user rights, as everything is routed through a centralized account.

Technical prerequisites to activate ColiShip in your business space
Before you can generate any labels, several conditions must be met. Ignoring them can cause blocks during registration or the first login.
- A valid SIRET number is required from the account creation, including for a test account. Without a SIRET, the registration form cannot be completed.
- The password must adhere to strict rules: at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character. A password that is too simple will be rejected without an explicit message on certain browsers.
- The account administrator must manually activate advanced features (bulk address import, multi-user management) from the Colissimo Box settings. These options are not available by default.
- A stable internet connection is required, and the company’s network security policy (proxy, firewall) must not block Colissimo domains. This point is often underestimated in organizations with strict web filtering.
The type of contract also influences the accessible features. A Colissimo Facilité contract does not provide access to the same options as a Colissimo Privilège contract, particularly for integrated package tracking.
Role management and enhanced authentication on ColiShip
The redesign of the Colissimo Entreprise space has introduced a role-based rights management that is more granular than in the past. Three standard profiles now exist: Administrator, Shipping Operator, and Consultation.
The administrator is the only one who can create new users, modify payment methods, and assign shipping rights to multiple accounts. The shipping operator has access to manual label entry and file import but cannot modify account settings. The Consultation profile only allows viewing the shipping history.
Two-factor authentication
Since the first half of 2024, enhanced authentication is mandatory for managing payment methods. For other operations, it remains recommended but not enforced. Activating this double verification on administrator accounts limits the risk of unauthorized access, especially in companies where multiple people share the tool.
The separation of roles also prevents costly errors. An operator who does not have access to billing settings cannot accidentally modify the payment method or return addresses.

Configuring file import and the ColiShip plugin
ColiShip offers two modes of operation for editing labels: manual entry, suitable for low volumes, and file import, designed to handle batches of shipments.
The import works via a CSV or TXT file whose format must exactly match the template provided by Colissimo. Each column (name, address, postal code, weight, service type) must follow a precise order. An error in the separator or a missing field will cause silent rejection of certain lines, without a visible alert in the interface.
The printing plugin
To print labels directly from ColiShip, a browser plugin must be downloaded and installed. This plugin requires administrator rights on the workstation, which regularly poses problems in locked IT environments.
The printer configuration (label format, resolution, margins) is done in the plugin settings, not in ColiShip itself. A poorly calibrated label will be rejected at the post office drop-off or during the package’s passage through the sorting center.
Facilité or Privilège contract: impact on ColiShip features
The choice of Colissimo contract directly determines what ColiShip can do for your business. Two plans coexist, and the difference is not limited to the price.
The Colissimo Facilité contract provides access to online shipping and label editing, but some options remain inaccessible: integrated package tracking in ColiShip, for example, is not available with this plan. Tracking then goes through the public Colissimo website, package by package.
The Colissimo Privilège contract opens access to the complete web service, bulk tracking, and integration options with e-commerce CMS. Companies that ship regularly should check their eligibility for this plan before configuring their space, as migrating from one contract to another mid-way involves reconfiguring certain settings.
The linking of ColiShip to Colissimo Box gradually simplifies the daily management of shipments, but the transition remains incomplete. The official PDF guides have not all been updated to reflect the new login process. Checking directly in the “Applications” section of Colissimo Box remains the most reliable method to confirm that ColiShip is indeed activated on your business account.
